An Aussie teaching in Botswana

Bill Woods

Bill Woods is joined by James Knight, Best selling author & educator, about his experience of working with the students of the Maru-a-Pula school in Gaborone, Botswana, the landlocked country in Southern Africa.

“25% of Maru-a-Pula’s students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and are strongly supported by the school throughout their education journeys.  Only a few years ago, some of the school’s students helped build a house for a grandmother who looks after AIDS orphans”, says Mr Knight.
