Airline workers to replace backpackers during grain harvest

This year’s grain harvest could see airline workers hard at work, in place of the usual stream of backpackers from around the world.

GrainCorp is working with grower associations to ensure there’s a workforce.

This year’s harvest is forecast to be a big one, particularly through Central West New South Wales, and parts of Victoria.
