Agricultural waste used as a filter for wastewater

Unused canola stalks, and lupin straw has been successfully used to filter lead from wastewater.

It could be a big breakthrough and tool to value add to crops for grain growers.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Edith Cowan University Researcher Haney Hashtroudi.
