Aged care bonus for staff is not enough!

On Monday, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a one-off bonus payment of $800 for more than 230,000 aged care workers.

The payment has been highly criticised, and unions are calling for more support to the aged care industry that is currently facing a crisis.  

John chats with the Australian College of Nursing CEO, Professor Kylie Ward. They speak about the staff shortages that the aged care sector currently faces, and the immense pressure staff are under. 

They are calling for more help and support. This one-off payment is too little too late.
