ABC no longer needs a political editor and up to 120 other jobs have been axed
Longtime political commentator Gerard Henderson discusses with Michael McLaren where he believes the ABC has erred in their job cuts and policy decisions this week. Despite their Director of News describing former political editor Andrew Probyn as doing a ‘fantastic’ job, they have chosen to let him go. 95% of the complaints to the ABC concern the coverage of their news and current affairs and they should look more closely at how they deliver and select their news content.
