A new campaign to recruit dairy workers
A new national marketing campaign is being launched to tackle the worker shortage in the dairy sector.
Data by Dairy Australia shows one in four farmers are unable to find labour, and almost half have lost one or more workers.
The campaign will attract workers to the industry, and support producers in the recruitment process.
Rural reporter Meg Van Lohuizen spoke with Dairy Australia’s regional services manager Verity Ingham, to find out more about the campaign.
