16 year-old Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler & the popularity of darts

Michael McLaren

Michael McLaren is joined by Greg Glegg, NSW Darts President and coach, to discuss the popularity of the sport of darts following the 16-year-old dart sensation Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler, making history with the greatest World Championship debut performance.

Littler, facing seasoned opponent Christian Kist, triumphed in nine out of 11 legs, boasting a remarkable average of 106.12, the highest ever for an Alexandra Palace debutant.

Littler, still attending school, opted for a kebab and a can of Coke over champagne to celebrate his success.
