‘Plain B*****t’: Ray tees off on Minns as seven-star building standards approach

Ray Hadley has teed off on NSW Premier Chris Minns for calling for more new homes in the state as the seven-star energy rating standards approach.
Unlike some states in the country, which are deferring this regulation until October 1, 2024, the NSW Government is going ahead with the seven-star energy rating, which will see heftier prices for those looking to build new homes.
Starting Sunday, all contracts for building a new home or apartment will be subject to these standards, a development that left Ray frustrated on air.
“That’s plain and simple B******t. That’s what you’re getting from the Premier,” he said.
“I have had email after email from builders, and I don’t apologise because I’m angry.”
