After a weekend of intense rain and flash flooding across the state, the old Windsor Bridge remains submerged in floodwater.

The Hawkesbury river crossing, which connects Windsor with Wilberforce and Freemans Reach, has been covered by fallen trees and other debris.

Wilberforce Road has been closed near the bridge in both directions. Ray Hadley has been sent photos of the bridge, which will likely take days to clean up.
