The Pharmacy Guild of Australia boss is supporting calls to make Pfizer available to those over 60 as Moderna vaccines arrive.

Moderna will be delivered to 3600 pharmacies across Australia, starting with 1800 this week.

Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President Trent Twomey told Chris Smith the mRNA vaccine is available to everyone over the age of 12.

“Moderna is our best weapon yet against fighting Delta.

“This week is the tipping point … now we will have more supply than we have demand.”

Mr Twomey says Pfizer should be available to the over 60s.
