ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys is encouraging people to reach out if they are struggling after former Queensland State of Origin coach Paul Green died aged 49.

It has been confirmed Green took his own life.

Mr V’landys told Ben Fordham he was devasted by the news.

“We’re just in complete and utter shock.

“If there’s a message here is if people doubt themselves … it doesn’t hurt to talk to somebody about it.
