Peter Dutton: ‘Labor can’t have a foreign spy sitting in the senate’

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton says disgraced Labor Senator Sam Dastyari “has to go.”

The Minister tells Ray Hadley the senator has failed to put Australia first and should be removed from the Parliament.

“His time is up.  There’s no way he can be a Senator given his track record.”

“He told this individual [Chinese donor Huang Xiangmo] that ASIO may be listening. We don’t know what their business is. There are more questions here than answers and Mr Shorten has to act.”

Mr Dutton also tells Ray he’s not changing his mind on the immigration status of accused bikie Shane Martin, father of AFL star Dustin Martin.

“People can hold a candle for a bikie if they like but I’ll stand on the side of people who have been victims of bikie gangs.”
