The Minister for Defence has made clear that there are “worrying signs” for Australia amid the possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Minister Dutton told Ray Hadley, “the considerable build-up is a concern to every observer”.

With the attack looking ever so likely, Peter Dutton believes: “The international community has to put as much pressure on Russia as possible”, to deter any irrational plans.

The ramifications could linger and trouble Australia.

“It would be devastating because it would disrupt world economic markets.”

“We’re right to be concerned.”
