Mayor of Hawkesbury City Council Patrick Connolly has joined Jim Wilson on Drive to respond to Chris Minns’ statement that he is not in favour of raising the Warragamba Dam wall.

“What he’s really saying is ‘nothing’s going to happen for a decade’,” he said.

The mayor told Jim that the local community wants immediate action and are concerned about the future of their home.

“We just can’t let indecision mean that we sit here unprotected.

“People are angry now. People are sick of the indecision.”
