Rugby league’s great ‘battle of the west’ is underway again this weekend, with the Penrith Panthers facing the Parramatta Eels.

Panthers winger Stephen Crichton told Mark Levy and Brad Fittler closing down the “heaps quick” Eels centre Waqa Blake will require endurance.

“They’ve got a lot of talented players in their side, especially with Waqa Blake – he’s got a real big body and [I’ve] just got to put some work in to him.

“Fatigue kicks in for both sides, but we’ll just see how long we can go for until we can start to break him.”
