Nine News Queensland/ 4BC Presenter Peter Fegan has provided an update on the mother of Brisbane Broncos star Payne Haas.

Joan Taufua has been charged with manslaughter over a crash that killed three members of a Gold Coast family after she failed to stop for police who spotted her dangerously driving.

Peter Fegan told Mark Levy, Ms Taufa was on parole and will have a return to prison order immediately.
