NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole has announced young people in the regions will be able to “upskill” themselves with a new program.

Mr Toole told Deborah Knight the opportunity will see young Aussies train in pubs, clubs and cafes.

“This is going to be rolled out across regional NSW and it will be a program done in conjunction with Clubs NSW,” he said.

“We have restaurants and cater groups involved and we will make the state-wide announcement shortly.

“This is about filling  some of these skill shortages that we see in these areas.”
