‘Part-time Minister’ – Sussan Ley takes aim at Chris Bowen’s new gig
Federal Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has taken Energy Minister Chris Bowen to task for not being focused on Australian households.
Ley has told Michael McLaren Australians don’t need a minister focused on United Nations Summits.
“This is a part-time energy Minister delivering a part-time energy grid; it’s not good enough for households and families,” she said.
She’s also called the Federal Government’s energy policy a “trainwreck”.
“Prices have gone up 40 per cent, and we had a Prime Minister who stood there and said ‘your prices, your electricity prices will come down’,” she said.
