Outgoing public servants will be not replaced, and the Climate Change department will be shut down in One Nation’s bid to cut down on government spending.

Barnaby Joyce has told 2GB Drive host James Willis that Chris Bowen will spend $34 billion on the department despite not being fully committed.

“It is just a fool’s errand. We are paying through the nose; we’ve got a cost of living crisis, and we need ministers more effectively employed than having jollies around the world.
