Hundreds of flood rescues in Sydney as wild weather hits
Wild weather is continuing to cause utter devastation right across Sydney.
Thousands of residents in Sydney’s west and south-west have been told to evacuate.
The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled its severe thunderstorm warning for Sydney.
The NSW SES has ordered residents and businesses in properties along the Narrabeen Lagoon to evacuate by 7 pm.
Federal Member for Lindsay Melissa McIntosh has told Jim Wilson there was a major landslide near Penrith.

Manly MP James Griffin has told Jim Wilson local residents are preparing to possibly evacuate downstream from the Manly Dam.
“We are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.”
