Macquarie Media News Reader Amie Meehan is sporting a new set of golden locks.

After losing her hair due to breast cancer treatment, Amie treated herself to something a little different from her regular brown hairstyle.

Ben: “What a look!”

Amie: “I absolutely love it.”

She tells Ben she tried on 20 wigs over the weekend and was determined not to get a blonde wig.

“They were all beautiful, but some of them I felt I was really wearing a wig.

“I was so determined not to get a blonde because my husband had probably mentioned half a dozen times I should try and get a blonde wig…”
