‘Our pain is not in vain’: First-ever War Widows Day

15,000 war widows in NSW will be honoured on the state’s first-ever War Widows Day. 

Australian War Widows NSW will be hosting a public service at the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park.

State president Queen Dunbar told Deborah Knight War Widows Day should be nationwide.

“We know that we are being heard … our pain is not in vain, our sacrifices are not in vain.”
