Organisation calls to scrap ‘best before’ label off food products

OzHarvest is on the case to scrap the ‘best before’ dates over food wastage concerns.

OzHarvest founder Ronnie Khan says ‘best before’ labels need to go because people are throwing away perfectly good food.

Ms Khan told Jim Wilson that people don’t understand how much money is being lost.

“In Australia, it’s costing us $36.6 billion a year.”
