Jarome Luai has faced more controversy after the outgoing Tigers star failed to show up to the club’s awards night.

NRL legend Josh Morris has told 2GB Sports Today that the co-captain isn’t helping himself by not attending club functions while he’s still contracted.

“You feel an obligation to at least see that out … I think there’s a bit of a story in that for sure,” he said.

“[The bad form] is going to happen at Parramatta too; he’s still going to have to promote the Chiefs while he’s playing for them as well,” he added.
