Opposition leader Peter Dutton is backing the removal of masks for international flights into Australia.

Some outbound international Qantas flights will no longer have to wear masks, but arrivals into Australia do.

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce has been vocal in his calls for mask mandates to be scrapped.

Mr Dutton told Ben Fordham people should have a choice.

“I don’t support mandating of it and I agree with Alan Joyce’s position.”
