Six-time Paralympic gold medalist Ellie Cole has been named the ambassador of Sydney’s Disability Expo, an event connecting disabled Aussies and their carers with nearly 200 providers.

The champion swimmer told Jim Wilson in 2022, the Commonwealth Games will be her last event before retiring from the sport.

“I thought ‘you know what, I’ll go on for another eight months’.

“I’ll swim that one last time with my Olympic friends as well, so I can say goodbye to the whole team.”
