Omicron wave deemed worse than lockdown for hospitality industry
Some restaurant owners say the current situation is worse than a lockdown as the industry struggles with staff shortages.
The Premier says he is open to changing isolation rules for hospitality staff, but has not committed to the change.
Bitton Cafe and Restaurant managing director David Bitton told Chris Smith it’s “never been so bad”.
“For two years we’ve had support and now it’s nothing, but it’s worse.”
