oBike refusing to pay up after double-collision

Article image for oBike refusing to pay up after double-collision

A chauffeur company is embroiled with oBike after a runaway bike rammed into one of its cars.

And it’s no surprise the share bike company is refusing to take responsibility.

The driver from Evoke Chauffeurs was on Kent Street in Sydney’s CBD when the riderless oBike was blown down the hill by strong winds, crashing into his car.

The bike operator is refusing to hand over insurance details to pay for the $6,000 worth of damage.

Ben Fordham speaks with Fleet Manager at Evoke Chauffeurs Matthew Peterson.

When asked what the communication has been like, he tells Ben it’s simple.

“Well it’s pretty simple, we haven’t heard a single thing.”
