The City of Sydney councillors have made a decision about speed limits.

They want to reduce speed limits everywhere to 40 kilometres an hour.

Councillors have voted unanimously in favour of the change and say the move will slash road fatalities and injuries.

It will now be put before the state government.

“If there are cameras, it’ll be a gold mine for the government,” Ben said.
