The NSW Treasurer has weighed in on the wage cap for Sydney Train workers ahead of the state election.

Matt Kean told Chris that at this stage it appears a Fair Work Commission decision on wages for Sydney Trains workers is largely in line with the government’s wage cap policy.

Unions New South Wales says the Sydney Trains employees will receive a three-and-a-half per cent pay rise from May 2022 and a four per cent rise in 2023, as well as a one-off flat payment.
