NSW Treasurer Matt Kean has told Jim Wilson the by-election results is a message that government “needs to listen to”.

“Win, lose or draw from these results we need to get back to working hard for the people of this state.”

Seeing different results across Willoughby, Bega, Monaro and Strathfield Mr Kean has said, “It’s a difficult time for incumbent governments”.

“You’ll always have to listen to the message sent at by-elections.”
