NSW Treasurer Matt Kean says the government will triple the number of fast chargers for electric vehicles.

The latest data shows electric vehicles represent 4.4 per cent of all new cars sold – up from one per cent.

The NSW Government believes 50 per cent of all new cars will be electric by 2030.

Mr Kean told Ben Fordham the government will roll out more than 450 new electric charging stations.

“We want everyone to charge up as quickly as you can fill up.”
