Clinton Maynard

Premier Dominic Perrottett is pleased with the reopening of international borders and believes it’s a sign of Australia getting back to ‘normal’.

“It’s a great announcement,” he told Jim Wilson.

With the country and businesses struggling from restrictions and guidelines throughout the pandemic, Premier Perrottet believes the announcement is a welcoming sign for the economy saying, “many businesses rely on tourism to get through.”

“We have to rejoin the world.”

“We’re getting back to normal, and getting back to the life we love.”

The Premier also told Jim Wilson that he believes Cruising will resume by the end of the month.

“We’ve got to move through.”

Mr Perrottet has said more guidelines and restrictions will be reviewed.
