NSW Opposition leader gives ‘pat on the back’ to Deputy Premier

NSW Labor leader Chris Minns has given credit to his old Drive sparring partner Deputy Premier John Barilaro, over his stance on curfews.
The state Opposition are going on the warpath against curfews in the hotspots of Western Sydney, which they argue have no tangible public health benefits.
The Deputy Premier has also sworn off curfews in regional communities like Dubbo where cases are growing, which Mr Minns applauded.
“This bloke calls a spade a spade,” he told Jim Wilson.
“He’s a genuine article … he just comes out, cuts with the company line, and puts the people of NSW first.
“I think he deserves a pat on the back this afternoon.”
