The Flood Recovery Minister is assuring residents they’re more prepared for this year’s storm season.

NSW residents are being warned to brace for the storm season lasting until the end of March.

Rainstorms have hit parts of Sydney overnight and there are warnings of more wet weather on the way.

Flood Recovery Minister Steph Cooke told Chris Smith they’ve had an increase in volunteers in the SES and invested in recovery vehicles.

“We’re certainly learning from every single event we do experience.”
