NSW Minister resigns after ‘serious ministerial misconduct’ and referred to ICAC

Premier Chris Minns has confirmed Tim Crakanthorp has been forced to resign following “serious ministerial misconduct”.

Minns fronted the press to confirm the Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education and The Hunter would resign, and will be referred to ICAC after the Minister is alleged to have withheld important conflict of interests to the government.

Crakanthorp has been a Member for Parliament since 2014.
