NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns has vowed to pivot to Australian manufacturing if elected Premier.

Buses will replace Spanish built light rails after they were found to have cracks in them.

“Your mob did plenty of this as well [buying things overseas],” Ray said.

“Are you saying to me, if elected as Premier, you’d put a stop to this sort of stuff?”

Chris Minns admitted previous governments have outsourced transport overseas but says “we can’t do it anymore”.

“I think it’s about time we started backing Aussie know-how and started supporting Australian manufacturing.”
