Months of wet and soggy weather conditions is causing chaos for the festive season.

Fresh Christmas trees in New South Wales will be more expensive and harder to find, due to this year’s increased rain and supply issues.

Leo Demasi from The Dural Christmas Tree Farm told Deborah Knight they lost a lot of seedlings with the heavy rains.

“They get a root disease with too much water. This will mean a slight shortage of trees, but nothing dramatic.”
