NSW construction workers ‘miles and miles apart’ from Victorian counterparts

Fully-vaccinated tradies forced to down tools by site capacity limits are welcoming the NSW government’s decision to remove them.

From next Monday construction sites will return to full capacity, which Master Builders Association Executive Director Brian Seidler told Jim Wilson is “great news” for the industry.

“We’re miles and miles apart to what’s happening in Victoria, thank goodness.

“The industry did answer the call … and because we were vaccinating so well, we’ve now exceeded the numbers that we needed to get back to work.”
