It’s National Diabetes Week this week with Diabetes Australia calling on Australians to rethink how they think about diabetes.

Nine NRL Host James Bracey has joined Jim Wilson on Drive to help raise awareness and to share the touching story of the diagnosis of his daughter Matilda.

“I was so uneducated on diabetes since the diagnosis of Matilda,” he said.

“It can come from anywhere, it can affect any of us at any time.

“The endgame here Jim is finding a cure for type 1.”
