NRL Head of Football Graham Annesley has reassured the five-match ban for Dragons forward Tyrell Fuimaono was the right decision after his tackle on Eels star Haze Dunster.

The hip-drop tackle injured Dunster and he suffered ACL, MCL and PCL rupture’s that will put him out for the entire 2022 NRL season.

Graham Annesley told Bill Woods, “Whenever we have incidents… I think largely they are a result of poor technique or circumstance”.

“We can’t ignore them when they do happen.

“We look at every tackle in each match.

“If you have a technique that gets you into trouble… you have the responsibility of making an adjustment.”
