‘Not the town it once was’: Jacinta Price calls out Albanese Government over Alice Springs drama

Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price believes “there’s so much that’s overlooked by those in power” when it comes to the ongoing crime concerns in Alice Springs, questioning the Albanese Government over the allocation of funds for the town and what it’s being used on.

Price, who is currently in Alice Springs, also shared details of an incident earlier this week that affected a family friend.

“It’s not the town it once was, certainly when I was growing up, and it does have its issues,” she told 2GB.

“I just found out that a few nights ago, my son’s best friend’s mother was badly assaulted on making her way back to her car from a venue.”
