Education Minister Prue Car has defended the decision to enforce learning from home for multiple, COVID-infected schools across NSW.

Chris O’Keefe challenged the Minister on the restrictions, asking her “Do we shut schools and tell kids to go learn from home if there’s an outbreak of influenza or gastro…? No, we don’t. Why covid?”

Prue Carr placed the responsibility back onto the Department of Health, stating that the imposed restrictions were based on their advice.

Students forced to learn from home will return to school on Monday.
