‘Not a bystander’ – O’Brien clashes with Chalmers at economic roundtable

Attendees have reported a fiery exchange between Ted O’Brien and his government counterpart Jim Chalmers.
Today’s sessions have focused on ways to make the nation’s budget more sustainable.
Mr O’Brien told Michael McLaren he was urging Labor to pare back its spending.
