‘Nonsense’ – Premier’s ‘Bigot’ attack on Latham escalates NSW parliament tensions
The state Opposition Leader is dismissing claims Mark Latham “runs” the Upper House in New South Wales.
Under parliamentary privilege, Chris Minns aimed at Mr Latham — labelling him a “shameful bigot” and criticising the Coalition for voting with him.
Mr Latham has been a critic of the hate speech laws passed after a caravan laden with explosives was found at Dural, and later revealed to be a hoax.
Speaking with Clinton Maynard, Mark Speakman has rejected suggestions that the former Federal Labour Leader is essentially the opposition leader in New South Wales
