Ticketek has faced significant backlash after it admitted that there was no ‘queue’ system in place for Australians purchasing Taylor Swift tickets.

Tech Expert, Trevor Long explained that the company’s outdated system complicated the process.

He further explained that the real issue lies in the cost of creating a successful system.

“You don’t invest tens of millions of dollars in something that you’re not gonna get directly back through the sale”, Long said.

“So you put sticky tape over the thing you add … and it works”.
