A multinational company is changing the way they recruit new staff.

Mars Wrigley has over 1,000 staff in Australia.

They’re now allowing prospective employees to bring a loved one to their interview.

Candidates can bring a partner, a family member, a friend, or even a pet!

The company says the new hiring step is to highlight the company’s “family values”.

People and Organisational Director for Mars Wrigley Katie Halliwell told Chris Smith the policy is an Australian first.

“What made us think about our recruitment process… was the pandemic,” she said.

“Recruitment processes have changed.”
