In his latest documentary ‘Mirror Mirror: Love and Hate‘, Todd Sampson examines the negative impacts of the internet and social media.

The average Australian spends about five and a half hours every day on an electronic device, that’s 17 years of their entire lives.

The documentary-maker told Deborah Knight we only now have the research to show the damaging impact the amount of time spent online is having on us.

“Although the internet has given us many good things, it also comes with a substantial amount of negative, unregulated content.

“It’s having a real impact on Australians, and that’s what the documentary series is all about.”
