A new book is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Country Women’s Association which was formed in NSW.

Known for their scones and handcrafts among many other activities, the women were pivotal in shaping and shedding light on issues within Australian society.

‘The Women Who Changed Australia’ author Liz Harfull told Deborah Knight the book is a “fitting tribute” that represents the trials and tribulations of the Country Women’s Association.

“I must say I felt the burden of enormous responsibility to tell the story of such an important organisation and do my best with it.”
