The first state director of Forensic Psychiatry in Queensland has penned a book exploring why people murder.

Author of ‘Killer Instinct’ Dr Donald Grant joins Alan Jones to explain that he was never concerned with who did a murder, but why they did it.

“Psychiatrists don’t talk about evil, but some people are so damaged and so psychopathic they don’t care about others.”

The book explores 10 murder cases and the facts behind them.

Alan’s chat with Dr Donald Grant can be heard below.
